I’m Katherine, a licensed master social worker (LMSW) in Austin, Texas, offering relational, trauma-informed therapy for individuals, couples, families, and young adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, body image concerns, family conflict, and perinatal challenges. My approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that therapy can be a place where you feel truly seen, understood, and supported.
I work collaboratively with clients to explore the stories you tell yourself, notice how your life stage or circumstances may be amplifying stress, and nurture curiosity, self-compassion, and resilience. Whether you’re facing changes around fertility, pregnancy, motherhood, identity shifts, or relationship strain, we’ll tailor therapy to your unique goals and lived experience.
I especially enjoy supporting:
Women and mothers navigating life transitions and identity shifts
Young adults learning to regulate mood, manage expectations, and build a life that reflects their values
Individuals and couples working through anxiety, loss, and relationship patterns
Families navigating conflict, role changes, or major life events
My work is grounded in a relational, humanistic, and strengths-based therapeutic style. I value connection, reflection, and equipping clients with tools for lasting change, blending empathy with practical insight so that healing feels possible and real.
I earned my master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas at Austin, with additional postgraduate training in psychotherapy and counseling from Regent’s University, London. When I’m not in session, you’ll often find me exploring ideas through reading, reflecting on life’s curiosities, or savoring a slow cup of coffee in the sunshine.
