I’m Abigail, a licensed master social worker (LMSW) in Austin, Texas, providing developmentally attuned, trauma-informed therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigating grief, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, and life transitions. I offer a steady, compassionate space where clients feel safe enough to explore hard feelings and supported enough to grow.

I work from the belief that children and teens communicate what they need through play, behavior, and relationship, not just words. My approach integrates child-centered play therapy, relational talk therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients better understand themselves, build coping skills, and feel more connected to the people who care about them.

I especially enjoy supporting:

  • Children and teens experiencing anxiety, grief, or big emotional shifts

  • Families navigating transitions, stress, or changes in family dynamics

  • Young adults working toward greater self-understanding and emotional balance

  • Parents seeking guidance on how to support their child’s emotional world with confidence and compassion

  • LGBTQIA+ folks exploring identity, self-expression, and belonging in a supportive, affirming space

When working with younger clients, I value collaboration with parents and caregivers, offering insight, reflection, and practical tools to support connection and consistency outside of sessions. Therapy is most effective when the adults around a child feel supported too. With adult clients, I help you explore somatic, meditative, and breath-work practices to empower you with mindfulness tools.

I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Columbia University and have experience supporting clients across a range of developmental stages and presenting concerns. I approach therapy with curiosity, warmth, and respect for each person’s unique pace and process.

Originally from Boston, I’ve lived in Austin since 2015. Outside the therapy room, you can find me in nature, exploring a crystal shop, or enjoying live music with my partner.
