I’m Ali, a licensed master social worker (LMSW) in Austin, Texas, offering trauma-informed, relational therapy for adults navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and major life transitions. I believe therapy can be a steady, grounding space where you feel supported in slowing down, listening inward, and making meaning of what you’ve been through.

My approach is collaborative and compassionate, grounded in the understanding that our minds and bodies carry stories — especially when we’ve experienced loss, stress, or overwhelm. Together, we work to build awareness, emotional regulation, and self-trust, helping you feel more connected to yourself and to the people around you.

I especially enjoy working with:

  • Adults processing grief, trauma, or prolonged stress

  • Adults raised by emotionally immature parents or caregivers

  • Individuals navigating anxiety or depression, especially during periods of change

  • Folks exploring identity, culture, and belonging

  • Highly sensitive or introspective individuals seeking deeper self-understanding

  • People feeling stuck, disconnected, or emotionally overwhelmed

I earned my Master of Social Work degree from The University of Michigan. I draw from relational therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and trauma-informed care to support healing that feels both practical and meaningful. I value curiosity, collaboration, and honoring each person’s process, knowing there is no “right” timeline for growth or healing. My approach emphasizes presence and consistency, with attention to nuance and context. I look forward to meeting you!
