You’ve found our safe space and we’re so glad you’re here. Grief, loss, and other big life changes feel so hard—all-consuming and overwhelming. We’re here to offer kids and adults a welcoming space for navigating big emotions and new circumstances, so that you can heal and grow. We help with feeling hard things, staying grounded in the body, and building on the resilience that is already in you. Our therapists use play, creativity, mindfulness, movement, storytelling, and talk therapy to feel into the hard parts of grief, loss, trauma, and relationships. We’re here to walk with you, to be an empowering companion, and to bear witness to your healing.
Grief + Loss
Grief and loss are an integral part of living. We are constantly letting go of what we thought we could control. This natural grieving process is intensified when someone you love dies or when you go through a big life change. Grief and loss deserve companionship, witnessing, and holding space for all that shows up, and that’s what you’ll find here.
Trauma + the Body
Whether it is diagnosable or not, we all experience traumas. Big and small, acknowledged or disenfranchised, trauma plays an active role in most of our lives. Trauma-informed care is essential to the healing process and we firmly believe that the body plays a foundational role in our healing journey. You’ll be helped to tune in, listen, and honor your body’s experiences as you process your trauma in a safe, nurturing space.
Children + Teens
We work collaboratively with each family and come from a child-centered perspective, trusting that each child intuitively knows what they need to work through. Therapy for children and teens incorporates play, art, stories, and lots of connection. Our younger clients learn emotional regulation skills, how to tune in to the body, and the power of play and expressive arts to heal.
